Bibliography of Natural Heritage Publications for Longford

Clients: Longford County Council/The Heritage Council
This project was carried out as part of the County Longford Heritage Plan 2004-2009. Its aim was to provide a comprehensive list of publications relating to the flora, fauna, wildlife habitats, landscapes, geology, heritage gardens and parks and inland waterways of County Longford. A bibliography was created following an extensive review of the scientific literature and consultation with a wide range of statutory bodies, non-governmental organisations and other interested parties. The resulting bibliography was organised into a printable document form in Microsoft Excel. The bibliography has been entered onto an online national database provided by the Heritage Council. The data were also entered onto a supplementary Microsoft Access database which was specially designed to facilitate the recording of additional detail relating specifically to County Longford.
