Client: Meath County Council

BEC Consultants produced habitat maps for three towns in Co. Meath: Slane, Ashbourne and Moynalty to aid in the finalisation of Local Area Plans for the towns.  The habitats within the town boundaries were mapped following Fossitt (2000) and recommendations were provided for their future management. A species list was also recorded for each of the habitats observed within the survey area.  In addition, a literature search collated all conservation designations in Co. Meath and relevant environmental impact assessments. The Botanical Society of the British Isles also provided records for the Moynalty area.
